Hi Bob, the beautiful Dansette arrived in perfect condition. We are all completely blown away with how amazing it looks. My husband couldn’t believe it was the same machine and we both agreed that adding the legs makes it a perfect piece of retro furniture. My brother was very emotional when he realised what I had given him and the wonderful work that you have done on our treasured family heirloom. He couldn’t believe his eyes. David, my brother, is going to message you himself to thank you as soon as he has got over how great it looks and the amazing sound. He said it took him right back to when our mum was gifted it for Christmas by our dad all those years ago. I loved the sound, there is something really special about it, its so pure. I cannot thank you enough Bob. You are a truly amazing craftsman, not just that, but you actually care so much about the happiness that you give.

A touching and thoughtful message from Steve in the northeast...

Hi Bob that’s me received my Dansette. You certainly know how to wrap it up because it arrived sound and secure. It’s now in pride of place in my room and looks absolutely fantastic. The colour is ideal and I’m glad I went for the light wood legs as they look great and match in well with the trim on the player. I’ve got it up and running and love the sound. It’s great to go through all my old vinyl and also it’s bringing back lovely memories of my late wife as there’s records of hers and ones we bought together. Again many thanks for all your effort and keep up the good work.  I may be back in touch soon as I’ve been thinking about your Bridget Box.

I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for all the work you did on the Dansette. All I had was an idea of what I thought might be a nice present but you really brought it to life in a way that I couldn't even imagine. 

From day one your passion for what you do and professionalism was evident. You got back to my email in half an hour, then we were chatting on the phone about the project for about an hour later that day! 

Thank you so much for keeping me involved in the project and the decision making as you went along and really understanding what it was I wanted and doing everything you could to make it happen!!

I can't really  see a world where I need another classic record player restored, but if I ever do you can bet I'm coming your way. Make sure you drop me an email if you ever find yourself in London, I reckon I own you a beer!!

Hi Bob, just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you again - radiogram safely delivered and set up and it’s an absolutely beautiful piece of kit and sound emerging. I’m delighted with my purchase and your craftsmanship, and without getting too sentimental it’s already brought me and the old man together as he’s now dropping round to insist we listen his dusted-off old collection together, so priceless in a sense! Will leave a proper review in next few days but thanks again, and will be sure to pass on your details when fellow millennial friends realise they need a radiogram in their lives too!

Hi Bob,

I can’t believe I am writing this listening to my Dad’s Shirley Bassey LP on his 1958 Dansette. Thank you so much for the fantastic restoration, it looks stunning and sounds incredible - unbelievable for its age. The blue tooth adapter adds a whole new dimension to the Dansette experience. 

It has brought back so many happy childhood memories for me, my brother and sister- we’ve all shed a few happy tears. It is now a marvellous family heirloom and a great conversation piece that will give my family hours of pleasure.

Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much I have been enjoying listening to vinyl again and am thrilled with the Dansette- You are a genius and the care and attention in your restoration is very evident. Its beautiful in its own right and am sure looks better than when it left the factory, sound is great and I love waiting for the valves to warm up before any sound. Thank you again and also for all your efforts chasing up parcel force!
